Holocaust Memorial Service In memory of the terrible genocide in Auschwitz, a group of pupils and staff from Cranbrook represented the school at the Redbridge Annual Memorial Service yesterday. They were joined by many other schools and dignitaries from Redbridge to remember the terrible events, and to join in sharing the message of ‘never again’.

At a time when we hear about awful events from around the world, where innocent people are targeted because of their religion, I would ask all parents and carers to support us in promoting tolerance and goodwill to all.

Family Charity the Brain Appeal We are supporting this appeal which is very dear to our hearts.  The Appeal supports research into treatments, the diagnosis and care of patients at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
We would ask if you have any new unwanted gifts at home, to please bring them into the school office to go towards a sale on Thursday 12th February from 3.10 to 4.30pm (Please note the change of date).
We will also be having a raffle and some food for sale such as pizza, cakes and a variety of snacks such as samosas, pakoras and sholay bhuttura. There will also be other activities to participate in, so please come along and support this event.

Raffle tickets will be priced £1 a strip and will be on sale in the playground during week beginning 9th February.
