Snow Update Thank you for bearing with us for the recent changes to the school day that have had to be implemented for safety reasons. The car park was a major hazard due to ice and had to be closed. I would ask the “grumpy” parents to show more consideration for safety than their own needs.

School Telephone System This issue has been a nightmare to resolve and the saga continues. Please be reassured that the school is doing everything we can to sort it out. The snow has not helped as the delivery of the faulty part has been delayed.

School Office The admin team have raised a concern regarding a number of parents who regularly bring their child’s packed lunch into school late. This means that office staff have to constantly take these to classes throughout the morning. I would ask these “regular” parents to ensure that the packed lunch is prepared before school and sent in with your child.

A Reminder Please ensure that your child is appropriately dressed in the cold weather. Children need to come to school in warm coats, hats and gloves. It is extremely cold. Please also be aware that whilst every effort is made to grit the site, the low temperatures are causing ice patches soon after. Please take care.

Medication Please can you ensure that your child’s medication (i.e. asthma pumps and epi-pens) are routinely replaced when the date has expired on it. It is your responsibility to ensure that the school has the correct medication should it be necessary to administer it.

Fronter It is an exciting time for our school as we approach the launch of Fronter. Your child will be soon provided with their personal Login to the system. We first need you to sign the E-Safety Agreement for parents which will be sent to you today. Please look out for the agreement, sign and return it no later than Monday 21st January 2013. Thank you Samina.

RE Resources We really need to build up our classroom resources for Religious Education. If you have any items to donate to the school such as books, cloth, candles or pictures please bring them in. There will be a box in the office marked RE donations. All donations will be gratefully received.
