Recycling Stall The School Council would like to thank everyone who donated items for their Recycling Stall at the May Fayre, they managed to raise £178.90, which will go to the school council to decide how they would like to spend the money.

School Dinner Arrears Please make sure that all dinner arrears are paid by the end of this week or you will be asked to supply your child with a packed lunch. Dinner money should be paid on a Monday, a week in advance.

Early notice of possible school closure on 30th June You may be aware that a number of teaching and school based unions are due to strike on this date. Therefore, I write to give you early notice to make the necessary arrangements for childcare, as the large majority of Staff at Cranbrook are likely to take their union’s advice and support the action.

Year 5 Glasbury reply letter Please respond promptly to the letter sent out earlier in the week.

Open School/Exhibition This will take place on 19th July from 3:30-4:15pm. All parents are invited to come in and walk through the school to look at the lovely work displayed and to visit your child’s new classroom and meet their new teacher for September 2011.

Punctuality I am extremely concerned at the significant number of children that are brought in late to school. The class registers close at 9.05am prompt, so please take any children that are later than this to the School Office to be registered. Please do not sneak them up the stairs unregistered as this would mean in an evacuation the children would not be accounted for. In order to avoid this issue the gate will be locked promptly at 9.05am. Please do not shout at the Staff who have been asked to lock the gate as this is a serious safety matter!

Nursery ‘Teddy Bear’s Picnic Nursery will be having a Teddy Bear’s picnic on 6th July during the morning and afternoon sessions. Parents will be welcome at this event, a letter will be sent out with further details.

Last day for Nursery Please note the last day of term for Nursery children will be Thursday 14th July.
