Pakistan
Tragedy I am sure, like me, you have all been moved by the awful
news from Pakistan. At this time, I would ask all the community to come
together to show compassion and to appreciate all that we take for granted. We
will aim to do some fund raising in the New Year following further
clarification.
Mad Hatter’s Tea Party On the 15th January
2015, we are asking our children to join in and enjoy a healthy nutritious
lunch. It will be a themed menu to coincide with the National Hat Day,
appropriately being called ‘Mad Hatters Tea Party’. Children will be handed out
hat templates to design and create a ‘mad hat’. Templates will go into a prize
draw, so get your thinking hats on! (no pun intended)
The lunch menu with reply slips will be sent out, please send
in money and slips by the 9th January 2015.
The Happy Puzzle Company are returning to
Cranbrook! This will be led by Mind Missions, who are hands on with Maths,
thinking and team building expeditions. The children will be solving hands on
challenges requiring a wide variety of mathematical and thinking skills to
complete special missions. Please refer to the letters which will be sent home
for additional information.
