Save
Glasbury! The council has decided that the Redbridge Education Centre
at Glasbury should close to help
meet the targets for cutting expenditure. This was attempted two years ago but
the decision was reversed by many petitions and an outcry from the parents,
Schools and Redbridge residents that have experienced Glasbury visits. It
offers amazing and positive impact on each students personal development.
Please visit : http://www.save-glasbury.org.uk and help us campaign to
keep Glasbury open!
Late Gate I would like to remind
you that any children not collected from the late gate by 3.45pm will be
taken to the After School Club. Parents and Carers should then collect their
child from the Club via the main playground. There will be a £6 fee per
child. We cannot provide free child care after this time as our duty of
care ends at 3.30pm.
Literacy Course for Parents Parent’s
and carers are invited to take part in a 6 week Literacy course at Cranbrook
Primary School. The course will start on Friday 9th January 2015 and
will run for 6 weeks until Friday 13th February from 9am-11am.
Parents will have the opportunity to understand how and what their children are
learning in English lessons at school, gain a greater understanding of grammar
and punctuation in order to support their children’s learning in the home and
discover new spelling strategies to
build confidence. A certificate will be awarded to all participants at the end
of the course. If you would like to enrol then please telephone 020 8518
2562.
