Letter to Cranbrook from Rt. Honorable David Laws, MP, Minister of State for Schools:
This week we received a letter from Westminister from David Laws MP, congratulating us on our improvements at KS2 results of our disadvantaged pupils since 2011.The results show significant improvements in attainment and progress and we only narrowly missed out on receiving a national award. Please see the full letter on our school website.

I am also very pleased to inform you that our 2014 results for Year 6 were in the top 9% of the schools nationally.
This is very much due to the hard work of our staff team and pupils with the support from parents and carers. The one area we really need to improve is attendance where we are still below Redbridge and National.

Winter Arts Competition
Wow! What a fabulous event! The performances and art pieces from each school were of a high standard. The judging panel had some tough decisions to make and unanimously agreed the following:

Winners of the Dance Act - Cranbrook Primary
Winners of the Musical Act- Fullwood Primary
Winners of the Art Piece - Roding Primary

This will now be an annual competition that will be hosted by Cranbrook each spring. I would like to congratulate our wonderful children who performed and thank Preeti, Kelly and Bal for all the organisation, and of course the site team, without whom we could not have had such a fantastic set up.
I must be the proudest head teacher in Redbridge!

Colour Assembly There will be no colour assemblies on Thursday 5th February and Thursday 12th February, as the hall is required for other activities.

Year 4 Performance The children and staff in Year 4 have started rehearsals for their performance, which is due to take place on the afternoon of 12th February at 2.15pm.
Year 4 parents, please make a note of the date. We hope to see you there.

Non Uniform Day Friday 13th February, to aid our ‘Brain Appeal’ all our staff and children are invited to come in their pyjamas or onesies and donate £1!
