Snow Plan Please note, should we have heavy snow, the school will not be closing, but registers will stay open until 9.45am to allow for any delays in travel time. PLEASE ENSURE YOUR CHILD IS DRESSED APPROPRIATELY FOR THE COLD WEATHER. In the event of snow, it is likely that we would have to close the car park.

Family Charity the Brain Appeal We are supporting this appeal which is very dear to our hearts.  The Appeal supports research into treatments, the diagnosis and care of patients at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.

We will also be having a raffle and some food for sale such as pizza, cakes and a variety of snacks such as samosas, pakoras and sholay bhuttura. There will   also be other activities to participate in, so please come along and support this event.

Reporting Absences Parents, please remember that you can report your child’s absence by text message to 07860004994. Please note this number is only used for reporting absences and not to be used for general messages. Absences must be reported on the morning of the first day of absence. In some cases we will request medical evidence if the absence is lengthy or too frequent.
I would like to remind parents that if your child has 12 sessions of unauthorised absence recorded throughout the half term period, the Local Authority will issue you with a penalty notice.

Uncollected Children Once again it has come to my notice that a growing number of parents are using the school for free childcare and not collecting their child/ children on time at the end of the school day. Please note, our duty of care ends at 3.30pm. Thereafter, you will be charged at a rate of £6 per hour if your child ends up in After School Club.

I am very disappointed to hear that some of the parents not only refuse to pay, but   also abuse the staff who end up providing childcare. This type of behaviour is totally unacceptable and despicable.

Pay up or collect your child on time but please don’t take the school staff for granted!!  You know who you are!
