Attendance
Well
done to class Year 6 Yellow for achieving 97.4%. The overall percentage for the autumn term for the
whole school was 94.6%.
I was
very disappointed to note that our school attendance really declined towards
the end of last term with many families travelling abroad. Please note, that if
the absence is not authorised, or you have not applied for leave of absence
before travelling, there will be a fine per child per parent. This will amount
to £120 per child, if paid within 14 days, or £240 if paid after the 14 days
are up.

Dinner money arrears Parents are
reminded that it is your responsibility to ensure all dinner arrears are paid
promptly. Despite numerous reminders there are still parents who have not paid
their child’s dinner arrears for last term. A Group Call to these parents will
be sent out today. Please settle your child’s account by Thursday. Any Parent
who does not pay will have to provide their child with a packed lunch.
School Crossing Due to the
proposed bus strike next Tuesday 13th January, it may not be possible
for our school patrol officer to attend the crossing by St. Georges Road.
Please be mindful of this and make arrangements for your children.
