Newsletter No.40 5th January 2011

5th January 2011
Newsletter No.40

I would like to welcome back all of our children, parents and staff and wish everyone a Happy New Year. I do hope that your time at home was enjoyable and restful.

Some things we need to work on this term:

Uniform/Jewellery I would remind you that it is school policy that all children wear uniform every day unless it is an agreed non-uniform day. If headscarves are worn they should be plain black or white and no jewellery should be worn except for religious observance.

Attendance A high number of children are still being taken out of school for holidays during term time and also many children arriving late on a regular basis. It is very important children attend school every day and that any absence is reported to the School Office. Please note that as we have waiting lists in most year groups, persistent absentees may be taken off the school roll.
