I hope you all had a fantastic Eid! Year 5’s Eid presentation took place on Monday- what an amazing presentation it was- congratulations Year 5 for an excellent job!

Nursery AM will perform at 10.00am with all Reception classes and Nursery PM will perform at 2.00pm with all Reception classes. In order to manage numbers we are inviting parents of Nursery AM, Reception Red and Reception Green classes to the morning performance and parents of Nursery PM, Reception Yellow and Reception Blue to the afternoon performance.

Zambia Schools Link This week we have launched our links with schools in Zambia, with Key Stage Assemblies being visited by Jodie Collins and Melissa and Dan Whitcombe from Beyond Ourselves. The children in Year 6 have written letters to the children at the schools and further links will continue through the year.

Year 3 Christmas Performance Year 3’s Christmas Performance will take place at 2pm on December 10th, parents of all Year 3 children are invited to attend and we hope to see you all there.

Christmas Dinner Day We will be having our school Christmas Dinner on the 15th December. Letters will go out next week for you to complete if you would like your child to enjoy the Christmas meal. Options available are Halal Turkey, Non-Halal Turkey, Seasonal Pizza and Xmas Ice Cream and the price of the meal is £2.00.

Cookery Room Our new cookery room is now complete- exciting news! We will now be able to hold regular cookery sessions as part of the curriculum.

Holidays during Term Time The number of children being taken out of school for holidays during term time is too high. Can I remind you that Cranbrook is becoming oversubscribed and any child who misses more than 10 consecutive days will be taken off roll. We will soon be introducing punctuality fines for parents who fail to bring their child to school or pick them up at the end of the school day on time.

Office Closure Please note that the School Office is closed from 10.00 to 11.00am and 1.30 to 2.30pm to enable all office staff have their required breaks. Please could you help by sending in any money in labelled envelopes with your child rather than queuing up each day to pay it into the office.

Lost Property Please collect any lost property from the small hall after school.

Attendance Please keep up the good work on attendance but we are noticing that a lot of children have been arriving late on a regular basis which gives an interrupted start to their school day.
