staff training. The school will be open to pupils as usual on Tuesday 4th
November.
Year 3 Diwali Assembly There will be a performance for parents on the 6th November
at 2.15pm in the main hall. I do hope that you will be able to join us.
Urgent It has come to my notice that some families who have moved
house over the summer holiday have not informed the school office of their new
contact details. It is absolutely imperative that we are informed, so that in
an emergency, if your child is sick, we can make contact. Therefore, if you
have changed address or your telephone numbers, please provide the new
information to the office without delay.

Non-Uniform Day Friday 24th
October To celebrate Black History Month, children
are invited to come in as their
favourite black ’hero’ or historical figure and bring in a £1 donation. We are
raising money to support a school in Africa.
Litter in the playground Parents
please encourage your child to put rubbish in the bins. Each day there appears
to be an increase in litter in the playground when the school day ends.
Sensible
Shoes/Coats Now
that autumn has truly set in, please ensure that your child brings a coat to
school every day, even if you drive him/her to school as all children do go out
for play and lunchtimes. Please also ensure that sensible shoes or trainers are
worn to school.
Making
School Dinner Choices Parents please help us by helping your child decide
what he/she would like to have for a school lunch each day. Please follow the
link below for instructions on how to do this:
https://host.cypad.net/ISSEducationRedbridge/Documents/parentsguidetoolonlinepayments.pdf
You
can only choose this option if you already have an account with
ISS. Please follow the link below to create an account:
www.feedinghungryminds.com.uk
This
will enable you to pay for the meals online and select your child’s meal choice
the night before your child’s want a school dinner not on the
day.
The
school lunch menu is available to view on the school website at www.cranbrookprimary.redbridge.sch.uk.
Paperless Newsletter/Homework As mentioned previously, we will stop sending paper copies
out after half term, (from November). Please remember, if you still want a
paper copy of the newsletter, you may collect one from the school office, and
that you can print the homework if necessary.
