Book a School Dinner Thursday 2nd October is Census Day in schools. This means that the greater number of children who stay for a school dinner on this day, the greater the funding is received by the school. It’s Pizza day, so please support us.

Colour Assemblies Please remember that colour assemblies will take place fortnightly. This week it is the turn of the following classes:
Thursday 2nd October:
9.10-9.35am Dance Studio-Red classes
9.10-9.35am Main Hall-Yellow Classes
All parents are invited to attend. Reception classes will join after Christmas.

Playing Football in the Car Park It has come to my notice that some children are playing football in the car park before school. This is obviously very dangerous as cars are coming in and out. Parents, please talk to your children to remind them that this cannot continue. We have also spoken to them in classes.

Uncollected Children As mentioned in a previous newsletter, any child who is not collected on time at the end of the day, will be taken to the After School Club in the small hall. Parents will be charged for this provision as staff in the office cannot be expected to provide free childcare.

A Reminder Any monies that you are  bringing into the office, must be put into a clearly marked envelope (together with the reply slip, if needed) with your child’s name, class and trip details written on the front. Please note that the office only supply envelopes for dinner money.

Key Stage 2 Lunch Arrears If you owe money for school lunches for your child in Years 3-6, please clear your debt promptly.

Equality Statement I would like to take this opportunity to remind all parents, pupils staff and community members, that as a school we fully support equality for all and believe that everyone should feel safe and valued.
If any incidents of any discrimination relating to race, gender, religion or sexual orientation occur, we will challenge and enforce sanctions in line with our Behaviour and Safeguarding Policies.

Paperless Newsletter/Homework As  mentioned previously, we will stop sending  paper copies out  after half term, (from November). Please remember, if you still want a paper copy of the newsletter, you may collect one from the school office.

Making School Dinner Choices Parents please help us by helping your child decide what he/she would like to have for a school lunch each day. Please follow the link below for instructions on how to do this:
https://host.cypad.net/ISSEducationRedbridge/Documents/parentsguidetoolonlinepayments.pdf
You can only choose this option if you already have an account with ISS. Please follow the link below to create an account:
www.feedinghungryminds.com.uk
This will enable you to pay for the meals online and select your child’s meal choice the night before your child’s want a school dinner not on the day.
The school lunch menu is available to view on the school website at www.cranbrookprimary.redbridge.sch.uk.

For all our families celebrating Eid this weekend, Eid Mubarak
