Car Park and Field There still seems to be some parents who are continuing to be inconsiderate to other parents, the driver of a silver 4x4 WV11 FZZ drove the wrong way round the car park causing congestion and putting the safety of the children at risk! Also, please do not cut through the playing field to Wanstead Lane. This is private property and you are eligible for prosecution if you are found there without permission!

Class Information Meetings These begin on Tuesday 17th April with Year 4 and will take place at 9-9.30am, providing you with information about next term’s learning theme for your child’s class. Please make every effort to attend. The dates for other year groups are as follows:
Wed 18th April Year 3
Thu 19th April Years 5 and 6
Fri 20th April Year 2

Dinner Money Arrears All dinner money arrears need to be paid in full by tomorrow (Thursday) as we need to bring our account with ISS up to date. If you are still in arrears after the Easter Holidays please provide your child with a packed lunch.

After School Club Please note that there will be no After School Club provision this Friday 30th March.

Nursery Easter Open Session Thank you to all those parents who came along to join in with some of the activities in the Nursery at their Open session yesterday. It was a lovely atmosphere and great to be able to share with you your child’s Nursery experience. It was also wonderful for the children themselves to have their parents and carers join in with them at school. Look out for future open sessions for you to come along. With thanks from Caren and her Nursery team.

Staffing Update I will hope you will all join me in wishing Mark Hemsley all the best for his Interim Headship at Wanstead Church School for the Summer Term. We look forward to his return in September to his substantive post as Deputy Headteacher. We also look forward to Julia Davis’ return from maternity leave on 16th April. Sadly, we say ‘farewell’ to Clare Woolley who will be leaving to take up a new position. We wish you well Clare.

As this is the last newsletter before the end of term, may I take this opportunity to wish you all a good Easter Break and look forward to seeing you all when the school re-opens on Monday 16th April.
