7^th May Election Day

School will be open as usual.

Year 6 SATs Week Next Week

If your child is in Year 6, please remember that the SATs will be taking place throughout the week. Good punctuality, as always, is very important.

Notice Board for Parents/Carers

I would like to remind you that near the main gate from the car park, we have a notice board on which we place items of interest and information for parents. Please check regularly.

Save Glasbury

You may be aware that our Year 6 pupils get the

opportunity to go on the week long residential trip, which is a fantastic experience. The centre is at

serious risk of closure. We would value your support at the Council Meeting on 21^st May at 7pm at Ilford Town Hall.

School Dinner Theme Day

We will be having a special theme menu on the final Census Day for the year which falls on Thursday  21^st May. The theme will incorporate ‘Share a Story’ month.

The menu for the day will be:

· Dragons Teeth Chicken Strips

· Tinker Bell Quorn Sausage in a Roll

· Moloten Chessy Jacket Potato

Road Safety

Our School Patrol Officer witnessed a near fatal

crossing this week outside the school whereby a child ran out onto the road. Please be extra vigilant and careful with your children.

A Date For Your Diary - 20^th May, 9-10am, Small Hall - Parent Coffee Morning

Parents are invited to come along and find out more about the CFA and the forthcoming Summer Fair. We have lots of exciting plans and hope to raise money for the school. We are particularly looking for parent volunteers to help set up and run stalls at the Fair on the 11^th June. We would also be grateful for any raffle prizes you may have to donate. If you have a small business and would like to run a private stall, the cost will be £20. Please contact Rahima via the school

office.

Nursery Arrangements

Please note that Nursery will be closed from July 13th 2015 in order to allow time for visits by all the new children and parents. Therefore, the last day for Nursery will be Friday 10th July 2015.

INSET DAY 

Monday 1st June 2015. Please make a note of this date, as the school will be closed for staff training.

22nd July 2015

This will be the last day of the school year. We will close early at 1.45pm on that day, and there  will be no After School Club that day, so please make  the necessary childcare arrangements.

Dietary Needs

If your child has dietary needs, please fill out the diet sheet sent home and send to the ISS Catering.

They will only accept diet sheets with medical evidence, such as a care plan. Any queries, please contact Wendy on 0208 518 2562
