School Values - Respect, Friendship, Equality, Courage, Inspiration, Determination and Excellence.

As always, I would remind all stakeholders of our school values and ask for your support in promoting these.  We will also once again be re-visiting the National British Values.

Staffing Updates - I am very pleased to welcome to the admin team, Farid and Polly, the 2 new faces in our school office. Farid will be the school Attendance Officers and Polly will support the main office.  I am sure you will all join me in welcoming them to the school
Attendance and Punctuality Currently, the school’s Attendance is below expectation and really does need to improve.  I would urge all parents/carers to ensure that your child attends punctually and regularly.
The Summer Term is often when children make very good progress. Please Remember: Good attendance = Good Progress = Good Self Esteem = A Happy Child.

Uniform/Jewellery – The school policy requires all Children to come in school uniform daily.   Please Ensure that your child wears the appropriate clothing and footwear.
No Jewellery should be worn.   If children continue to wear Jewellery in school, unless it is for religious observance, it will be confiscated.

Requests to keep children in at play and Lunchtimes  From time to time, parents ask us to keep their child in at break times.  However, this is not possible, as staff are entitled to breaks themselves.
Therefore, please note if your child is well enough to be in school, then he/she will be expected to go out at playtimes.
