CFA Diversity Event Thursday 19th March 2015.
As usual we will be running this event later in
the term, celebrating the diversity of the school and the local community.
We are especially celebrating European countries
this year, by inviting all children and staff to come in non-uniform on 19th
March in the colours of the flag of the country that the year group is promoting:
Nursery - Albania / Kosovo Reception - Lithuania
Year 1 - Poland
Year 2 - Bulgaria
Year 3 - Germany Year 4 - Russia
Year 5 - Romania Year 6 - Czech Republic
In addition, each year group will send out some
simple recipes for dishes that are traditional to the country.
Each family is invited to prepare a dish card and
send it in for tasting and/or for selling.
Remember, this is our main fund raising event.
This year we are aiming to raise £15,000 this year for outdoor play equipment.
For private stall hire, please call Rahima on 0208 518 2562.

If you
would like to donate to this fantastic charity, then please support with his
fundraising. We will be having a Non Uniform day on the Friday 24th April
2015. Children and staff will be dressing up as an inspirational Sports person, who has
shown courage, determination,
inspiration and respect within their sport. Children will need to explain their
reasoning behind their choice.
A donation
of £1 by all will be greatly appreciated and will further help the Children
with Cancer charity.
Active School Vouchers We are once again collecting Sainsbury’s Active
Kids Vouchers. These are a fantastic way for the school to fund new resources, aiding a range of subject
areas across the school.
The school will be collecting the vouchers until
the close of the promotion until May 2015.
Please support us and place all collected
vouchers in the box provided in the school office.

always, these will be held on the Thursday 5th March at 9.15am, as follows: Red
