priorities at the beginning of the next academic year.

and the remainder of the school will finish at 2pm. Please ensure

rising to £120 (if you fail to pay within 28 days) per child, per parent.
Lunch Arrears We have over £400 owing to the school by parents who
have not cleared their debt. PLEASE PAY UP! You know who you are!
Parking Please be more considerate! Renault KD5 0KW - Don’t park on the grassed
banks in the car park!
Year 6 Packed Lunches Year 6 children are encouraged to bring packed lunches
for the remainder of the term, so that they can spend their lunchtimes on the
school field as a special privilege. Children who receive free school meals
will be provided one.
Next Tuesday afternoon, Year 6 pupils will also have a
fun day on the school field.
Loom Bands We have had many children bringing these into school
and causing problems and injuries with them. I have therefore, had to take the
decision to ban them from school. If your child brings loom bands into school,
the teacher will confiscate them.
Colour Assemblies There will no colour assemblies tomorrow as Year 2
will be holding their end of year performance for their parents.
School Travel Plan I am delighted to announce that Cranbrook has become
the first Redbridge Primary School to obtain gold accreditation for our work on
the travel plan. We have reduced car travel and increased walking, cycling and
park and stride.
Last week, I attended a Celebration and Awards event at
The Town Hall. Amanda Irons, our travel plan champion, together with Qasim,
Vikram, Kiran and Faizah in Year 6 gave a presentation. Cranbrook were highly
commended for our work on cycling and won Primary School of the Year for our
work on the Travel Plan. Well done everyone for helping us achieve these
awards.
Virtual Bike Race Thank you to everyone who took part in the Virtual
Bike Race by cycling to school. 13% of our children cycled to school this week
and we won the race. Well done Cranbrook! Our prize is a Flatland BMX display
at the school.
