Newsletter No. 28 23rd April 2014

Welcome back, I hope you all had a restful break. As always the children have returned enthusiastically and are ready for another exciting and busy term ahead. Please check dates overleaf, so that you are able to attend all main school events for this term.
Congratulations to the following pupils:
A Headteachers Award was received by Zara Manzoor and Olivia Molokwu and a Gold Award was received by Bisma Tahir.
Staffing Update I am very pleased to warmly welcome our new Deputy Headteacher, Stavroulla, to join the senior team. I am sure you will join me in wishing her all the very best for her time at Cranbrook. Please do come along and say hello to her as she will aim to be on the main gate in the mornings and afternoons.
CFA Diversity Event Wow! What a great turnout we had and what an amount we raised - £3,000! This will be matched by Barclays, our community partner, so that we will have another £6,000 to add to the existing balance to develop the outdoor area to incorporate a climbing frame and safe surface for all children to enjoy.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all staff, parents and community members who supported and helped organise this fantastic event.
