Information Session All nursery parents are invited to an information session on Thursday 21st November at 9-9.30am or 2.30-3pm. The meeting will take place in the small hall.
Parent View Once again, I would urge all parents to take a few minutes and visit the OFSTED Parent View link in order to input your views on how the school is doing in terms of its strengths and areas for development. As a staff team we are committed to receiving feedback to plan for further improvements.
Racist Incidents I am once again concerned to learn that some of our children have been excluded by others because they have a different cultural/religious background. It is evident from what has been said that some parents are teaching their children these concerning attitudes that are clearly racist. At Cranbrook, we will challenge all incidents of racism and emphasise to our children that no race is better than others!

Entry into school would be through the pathways at the front of the school and not the playground. Please also note that the car park may be closed if it is unsafe.

Children In Need Wow! What a fantastic response from all. We raised £2,000! Thanks to all who helped at the Year 5 sleepover last Friday and to all those who donated goods and their time to sell the food. Thank you to Sainsbury’s and to MIM Superstore (Ilford Lane) for their donations.

Dr Bike Nursery and Reception are invited to bring their bikes to school on Thursday 28th November for Dr Bike to service them. A letter was sent out yesterday and the slip should be returned by Monday 25th November. There are 40 spaces which will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Road Safety Week This week, you may have noticed our local Police Community Team have been carrying out speed checks and offering advice at the gates. They also led assembly and visited Nursery to raise awareness of road safety and stranger danger.
The children enjoyed a special ‘Road Safety’ lunch yesterday with Speed Bump Toad in the Hole, Traffic Light Pizza and Lemon High Vis Biscuits on the menu and were given a road safety activity sheet.

Safety After School Please ensure that once you have collected your child that they remain close to you. Recently, we have had a few worrying incidents where children have become separated from parents and this is distressing for all. Please take extra care.
