Newsletter No.32 5th June 2013

Welcome back, I hope that you all had a great half term. It has been lovely to return and bring some sunshine with us. Long may it last!
Congratulations to Aliya Islam in 1 yellow who received a Gold award. Well done to you!
Staffing Update We welcome back Jasmine from her maternity leave this week, she will be providing support and cover across the school.
School Values Once again, I would like to thank parents for supporting our school values:
Respect, Equality, Friendship, Courage, Determination, Inspiration and Excellence.
CFA Summer Fayre 20th June I hope you are all keeping your fingers crossed for a day of sunshine on 20th June, so that this event may take place outside. Many of you have asked if more tickets will be available and we certainly hope to sell more tickets, but not at this stage as the weather is so unpredictable. If it rains, the event will take place inside, where a limit on numbers has to apply for health and safety reasons. Therefore, we will see what the weather forecast is closer to the date before selling more tickets. However, please note, if it is sunny on 20th June, tickets will be available on the day.
Tokens for the Summer Fayre can be purchased in the playground from Monday 10th June. Tokens will be available to buy before and after school at a cost of 50p each. These can be used on most of the stalls.
Non-Uniform Day Children are invited to come into school in non-uniform on Friday 14th June. Children can wear their own clothes and we will be asking for a small donation (per family) of items that can be used in the Summer Fayre. This may include chocolate, bottles of soft drinks or raffle prizes.
Year 6 Leavers Photograph Please look out for out Year 6 classes in the leavers supplement in this week’s Ilford Recorder.
