Cranbrook 2012 Fayre Don’t forget the exciting Fayre the Cranbrook Friends Association are planning for Thursday 14th June. All money raised will go towards an outdoor room in our fenced garden area. A huge thank you for money raised in the past by the PTA (now reformed as CFA) which is to be used to develop the fenced garden area—watch as it grows before your eyes! And thank you once again for all your financial support that has enabled this to happen.

Early finish and arrangements on 14th June In order to enable our school to participate in the Summer Fayre, school will finish slightly earlier on that day at 3pm. The children will be dismissed from the front of the school, as the playground will be used for the Fayre. There will be signs up in the playground and by the main gate to tell you about this.

Park and Stride Map As part of our School Travel Plan, we are trying to encourage more children to walk or cycle to school and to reduce car congestion around the school. have developed a Park and Stride map which has 3 concentric circles showing the distance of a 5, 10 and 15 walk. If you live within or just outside of the green ring (15 minutes), please consider walking your child to school. If you drive to school, please consider parking a short distance from the school (blue ring) and walking the last ten minutes. once a week will make a big difference. The map is displayed in Reception and around the school or you can request a copy from the School Office.

Bringing equipment to school Parents/Carers please remember to send packed lunches, book bags, and appropriate clothing (i.e. PE kits, clothes for non-uniform days, etc.) into school with your child at the beginning of the school day. This will limit the amount of interruptions to your child’s class and also to the Office Staff who are also extremely busy providing support for the day-to-day running of the school.
