Parent Governor Vacancy
We have 6 parents who have put themselves forward. This means that we now have to go to a secret ballot where all parents will be sent a ballot paper with the manifestos of each candidate. A ballot box will be placed in the school lobby for a period of 10 days, so that all votes can be placed in the locked box. The parent with the most votes will then become the parent governor. Please look out for the separate letter and details will follow over the course of the next week.

CFA Summer Fair -  Thursday 11th June
We are all looking forward to our annual summer fair next week. There is a superheroes / fairytales theme and children are invited to dress up on the day and    donate £1. We have private stalls, lots and lots of fun activities. There will be lots of food including samasos, pakoras, fish and chips, pizza, barbeque, ice cream and cakes. We have space for a few more stalls - please  contact Rahima to book. Raffle tickets and tokens will be on sale from Monday in the playground before and after school and also from the School Office. Money will only be accepted on food stalls and private stalls. We rely on your generous donations to make these events a success and would ask Nursery, Reception and Year 1 to bring along some chocolate from Monday, Year 2 and 5 to bring along individual cartons of drink from Monday and Years 3 and 4 to bring in cakes on the day. We look forward to seeing you at the Fair.

Reminder - Year 6 Red Cross Appeal for Nepal

In conjunction with their ‘Speech and      Writing’ literacy work, Year 6 children will be making a   whole school appeal for donations towards the crises in Nepal. I am sure you have been touched by the images seen on the news and the reports. A number of our children have been very moved and have asked if they could do some fund     raising for this appeal. The money will be collected from this week. All donations are very welcome.
22nd July 2015

This will be the last day of the school year. We will close early at 1.45pm on that day.
